Queen has good taste: Ellie Goulding to Play at the Royal Wedding Reception
She'll be belting out her back catalogue and hopefully some wedding classics such as Oops Upside Your Head, The Time Warp and Land Down Under.
A source said: "Wills and Kate are huge fans of Ellie and were keen to sign her up.
"Her music goes down well with the young ones, plus a few of the older guests will be nodding their heads along.
"They really wanted a top British talent and the couple are delighted Ellie agreed to perform. She can't wait - although she's a tad nervous."
You can't blame Ellie if she has had a few sleepless nights before the big day.
Wedding singers face a tough job getting the party going.
She'll be praying PRINCE HARRY gets on the Pimm's early and demands guests move to the dancefloor.
No doubt he'll be backed up by ZARA PHILLIPS' fiancé MIKE TINDALL.
Rugby players don't usually need to be asked twice to throw a few moves - though they are usually just wearing a jockstrap when they do.
Ellie will have boyfriend GREG JAMES to keep her company. The Radio 1 DJ will be by her side all day.
When it's her turn to get on stage, Greg can pull up a chair by the buffet, grab a plate of sausage rolls and scotch eggs, sink a can of lager and watch his missus in action.
It will be interesting to see if Ellie sings Wills and Kate's first dance tune.
Her cover of ELTON JOHN classic Your Song did very well at Christmas and is bound to be right up their street.
But as the royal couple got together while studying at St Andrews University you can't rule out a song born north of the border.
They can't go wrong with Let's Get Married by THE PROCLAIMERS.
