In case you already didn't know, Hollywood heartthrob and former male model Channing Tatum was once a full fledged stripper. Now I'm not talking about those unclassy slime bags who dress up as fireman at Bachelorette parities. Tatum was the real deal, as one can see in his outstanding performance in "Step Up".
Now Tatum is taking his talents to a whole new level, in the form of loosely based bio pic on his rise to fame. "Beastly" star Alex Pettyfer is set to play the title character dubbed "Magic Mike", while Tatum will star as the mentor to the man with the smooth moves on stage. Deadline reports that Steven Soderbergh will direct. Oh brother.
